DOGONLAND
Early in the morning we shall go on foot to discover the Dogon
villages along the cliffs and the plains where paths come down
straight from the cliffs; you will then take the necessary time
to go up and come down from these cliffs . The Dogons arrived
in this area around the 15th century to flee razzias and tribal
wars and mainly to escape islamisation. |
BOUAKE -YAMOUSSOKRO - ABIDJAN
