Arrival in Dakar
Arrival by scheduled flight at
the airport - Transfert to the hotel - Dinner and overnight in
Dakar at the NOVOTEL Hotel.

DAY EIGHT: Beni -Cheb - Tioulite
Fourth pension day . This time, you will go west to discover
the famous land of the Imraguenn, an ethnic group between the
desert and the Atlantic Ocean, on the coast; and whose main activities
are fishing in a magical friendship with dolphins.
- Dinner and overnight in Tioulite,
a small village near the sea. |

Dakar -Gorée Island-Dakar :
Breakfast and departure for Gorée
where, for centuries, took place the shameful slave trade. By
ferry, you will reach the Island which has been declared as a
humanity patrimony by the UNESCO. You will visit the whole Island
with its colonial buildings and chocolate colour fronts. Dinner
and overnight in Dakar.

DAY NINE: Tioulite - Desert of dunes
Fifth day of pension . Internment
in the ergs, a huge sand sea which takes an important part of
the Mauritanian desert. You will be driving in an endless desert
. However this adventure wouldn't be complete if you do not camp
among the dunes where quietness is king.
- Dinner and overnight in the
desert. |

Dakar- Saint Louis :
Breakfast early in the morning
and departure for Saint-Louis in the North of Sénégal.
As the former capital city, the town still has its romantic atmosphre.
You will have a walk in the streets which, today, are the remains
of a recent past. Dinner and overnigt in Saint-Louis at the Cap
Hotel. |
DAY TEN : Desert of dunes - Rosso
Sixth day of pension; you will
go south by crossing the Trarza land before reaching Rosso, once
more, on the banks of the River Sénégal.
- Dinner and overnight in Rosso. |

Saint Louis - Nouakchott :
Breakfast and still departure
fort the Northem part till Rosso, a border town where the River
Sénégla draws the boundary between Sénégal
and Mauritania. After the crossing of the river by canoe, together
with some nomads and their cattle, you will reach Nouakchott,
the captial city of Mauritania. Dinner and overnight in Nouakchott. |
DAY ELEVEN: Rosso - Langue Barbarie Park
-Breakfast - Once again you will
cross the border between the two countries. You will be canoeing
in the ornithological reserve of the La Langue Barbarie Park
looking for pelicans and pink flamingos.
After that wonderful crossing, you will reach your settling place
between the sea and the river.
- Visit of the town of Saint
-Louis in the afternoon .
- Dinner and overnight in Saint

Nouakchott - Tergit :
Complete pension diet for the
day. Almost near the desert, through small paths, our 4x4 cars
will take you to sand dunes, where you will meet some camel caravans
There, you will see the Sahara in its whole entity. Next, you
will reach the Tergit Oasis, an enclave between the sand dunes
with its mud huts and wells from which you will pull water for
you own refreshing bath. Dinner and ovenigt in Tergit. |
DAY TWELVE: Langue Barbarie Park - Djiffer
Breakfast and way to north . Step by step you will reach the
Serer Land , an enigmatic people which still keeps a great deal
of its tradition. You will visit villages and spend the night
near the river. |

DAY SIX: Tergit
Second day of complete pension
diet. You will spend that whole day enjoying the tranquility
of desert . A short tour will lead you to Toungad, where the
scraping noise of the wind against the sand will produce strange
sounds. You will also cross Chinguetti. Dinner and overnight
in Tergit. |
DAY THIRTEEN: Djiffer
After breakfast, you will go for Joal -Fadiouth and the famous
island of cowries - Departure for Saloum in the afternoon by
crossing the very nice landscapes of the delta - Return to Djiffer
in the afternoon. |

DAY SEVEN : Tergit - Beni - Cheb
Third day of complete pension diet . Once again, with our 4X4
cars, you will go to the sand mountains on your way to Beni -
Cheb where you can find the most important thermal water sources
of Mauritania.
- Dinner and overnight in Beni-Cheb |
DAY FOURTEEN: Dakar Djiffer
Breakfast and departure for Dakar. On your way , you will cross
the beautiful Pink lake whose water takes a colour due to the
high rate of salt contained in it and the reflection of the solar
rays on it. Back to Dakar, you will visit the "European
Quarter" of the plateau , the Médine zone or the
fishing port.
